my daughter is 6 months . I can start feeding her gerber and cereal in her milk . how do I do feedings since she still is on formula
They SAY no cereal in the bottle but you can if you have to...I had to because my son was put on cereal at 4 weeks old so it had to go in the bottle and we kept it that way until I took him off of it. He was like 10.5-11 months old by then.
They say no cereal in the bottle, you mix formula with it and spoon feed it to her
I put cereal in my daughter’s bottle yes she’s healthy never had any problems with that lol and made sure the nipple to the bottle was a fast flow so it didn’t get clogged. I did use Gerber cereal banana oatmeal is really good. If cereal in the bottle works for you go for it
No we did BLW so we give him real, Whole Foods, age appropriate of course!
We never used bottles lol, but I definitely wouldn’t put it in the bottle, it is a choking hazard that way. Spoon feed cereal and baby foods only!
and did you give him gerber? if so, around what time or how many times a day?
After she has a bottle, her formula should be her #1 source of nutrition.
This is how I started with my son;
At 6 months I gave him one meal in the morning (we do BLW)
At 9 months 2 meals: breakfast and dinner
At 12 months we will do 3 meals per day
He still mostly depends on breastmilk and kind of plays around with his food lol
We spoon fed cereal mixed with formula for breakfast and then just formula bottles the rest of the day. Then we slowly introduce fruit & veggies a couple days at a time...
