When I pump, i pump around 5-6 oz . If i breastfeed , he will be hungry the next hour . He is a lazy eater on breast and will fall asleep and still continue eating. I’ll have him on both left and right for about 15-25 minutes . He doesn’t latch well , my nipples hurt . I don’t know what to do . I don’t know if i should just pump or keep trying . He was literally on for 22 minutes on left breast an hour ago . I use a nipple shield and all .. he is now drinking around 2 oz of stored breastmilk .

If you have the milk! Don’t give up! It gets easier! If he stops latching , I suggest pumping and just feeding him the bottle. My baby girl did the same thing she wouldn’t eat much on the breast the first week or so. But it got better. I Kept latching her on the breast and she got better! If all fails, see a lactation nurse! They’re really helpful

@nzxo_, with my daughter I had the same problem .. but she wouldn’t hurt me to the point my breast felt so sore to touch .
