This photo was taken the first time I was able to hold him after my D&C. I had hemorrhaged and was away from my son for about 3 hours. 3 hours of missed bonding time. I needed 3 blood transfusions. I thought I was going to die. For a while I thought I did something wrong. I blamed myself. But now I look back and I'm strong for that. My csection scar makes me proud. Having carried a child makes me feel proud to be a woman. Myself and all you woman have the greatest gift to be able to carry a child and populate. Without woman I don't think anyone would be on this earth. #WeAreOne #momlifephotos
