I need help! My three month old daughter is constipated and she has been trying to poop for three days now. It’s gotten really bad today. She’s straining to poop constantly and is screaming. I have a call into my pediatrician but thought I would reach out in the meantime.

Straight apple juice (not diluted) and pumpkin purée should help.

My daughters pedi at 2 months said 1 oz of prune juice. I doubted it thinking she’s too young and got multiple other opinions and everyone said the same thing. I just found the one with the least amount of sugar in it. It worked in a few hours!

Thank you! We have her a suppository at our pediatrician’s recommendation and it worked like a charm. She had immediate relief. I appreciate all of your input.
