How Do Moms Manage Long Artificial Nails with Kids?

How do yall wear them long ass artificial fingernails while having kids? I'd be afraid I'd scratch or hurt my child lol. Especially having a newborn I couldn't do it.. And just imagine having a 2 year old like mine that throws tantrums daily like picking them up etc and having nails omg lol. I haven't wore nails in like 4 years and they was really short. I can't do that long type that would irritate tf out of me lol couldn't imagine cleaning, doing laundry, showering and wiping Especially ouchhh lol
