You can also go into labor without your water breaking and just have contractions.. Not every woman’s water breaks on its own...🤷🏻‍♀️

@mommytonayeliz, you’re welcome! 😊 this is my first baby too, so I know how curious it is to know when it’s really baby time. lol but that’s just what my midwife told me when I asked her when I would know I’m in labor when the time comes, because I also assumed I would just be waiting for my water to break, but I guess not. lol 🤷🏻‍♀️🙈😅 Tv shows and movies are not realistic ways of going into labor. 🙃

Not always. My water broke and I didn’t have any contractions so I ended up basically needing to be induced.

My water broke & I didn’t feel contractions until about 12hrs later

@mommytonayeliz, my water didn’t fully break. I was leaking and having Braxton Hicks basically. They didn’t turn into full contractions so when I went to get checked they said I’d need to be induced because of the risk of infection after my water broke
