Moms, when did you start giving your little ones table food? Someone said I should give my almost 6…

I would do what u think is best for ur baby. I give mine only baby food. N sometimes daddy jus gives him the sauce from the ravioli but that's very rare he will do that. But I have given my kids mashed potatoes before n they did jus fine. But not all baby's r ready for that step.

When she showed interest, so around 6 months. I gave her what I ate, mashed potatoes included. It's up to you really. I did baby led weaning.

@messiah-mommy that's exactly what Michael does. He does the same thing. U can always give them a lick of what u got. Baby foods r really good. Have u tried any yet? Michael only has 2 teeth so I can't give him anything else but stuff that is like soupy mash potatoes baby foods. That's bout it.

@metzgerfamilysoonbe82018, she’s had her 2 teeth since 3months. I’ve given her sweet peas, apples, prunes, and squash and I add a little of my breast milk and some rice or cereal but it seems to be not enough for her lol I’m like girl watchu want,some steak ? Lol

@messiah-mommy LoL 😂 I bet she would try. Sometimes they act like they r hungry n they really aren't. But she's growing so she might want to eat more than what u r giving her. I Kno my kids jus want to eat eat eat all day long LoL 😂. Maybe jus give here a little bit more than what u r giving her. But if she's crying she's eating way too much. U kno like her having a belly ache. Than back off a little. Baby's r hard to understand what they want all the time. Trust me I've been there. They can't say anything right now so us mommy's have to jus figure it all out for them.

I started at 4 months. It's perfectly safely for you to give your baby food at that age

@messiah-mommy i was told at 6 months old. I've started giving her tastes of things, but she still hasn't even gotten the hang of eating baby food yet smh. She's so stubborn when it comes to veggies. Lol

@juliaschade41, yea I’m gonna try to start giving her little things. I just cut an apple up(skin off) she’s enjoying nibbling on it... I don’t think it was that she wasn’t full. I think she just wants to use her hands lol. I wish she could talk 😩

@messiah-mommy same lol cuz this child has done nothing but scream and cry the last 2 days and refuses to eat cuz she's teething. 😥😥
