Just a little update. Baby boy
Has really bad reflux we don’t sleep in clothes bc he throws up so much and he was waking up with a rash. We leave the house with almost 10 outfits 6 bibs and 4 burp rags and 1 towel. EVERYDAY. We’ve tried only formula, only breastfeeding, mixing breastfeeding and formula, adding rice, hot bottle, cold bottle, reflux medicine, gas drops, different feeding holds, and only doing a little at a time then burping. We go back for another test where the doctor watches some white stuff go thru his system. Everything else has come back normal. how long did it take your LO to outgrow any reflux issues. I know every child is different but I just like to hear others stories... THanks

Have you tried feeding him on an incline pillow or a boppy? I just read that helps, tried it with my daughter and it worked for us.

@kkillgorefamily, I used to but I’m kind of small and so it was awkward I have 2 different ones and neither one seemed to fit us right

But I used to be able to feed him and have him kind of sitting up and now he just screams and cries bc the way my boobs are my nipple won’t stay in his mouth as well since he’s bigger

@ashlie.prim, this looks like my baby laying on the towels with the wash cloth under his chin. When did your son start spit/throwing up with the reflux. My son didn’t spit up at all for the first 4 weeks all of a sudden the past week he throws up constantly all day and night several times an hour. We went to the doctor yesterday she said it’s reflux and switched our formula to Enfamil AR. I’m hoping that helps.

@woodsonjennifer, well we did 2 weeks on formula 1 week soy and the other enfamil gentle and he was spitting up just as much . I would say around the 2-3 week mark it started getting worse. We went and got blood work and everything is normal there he just had the other test and they’re sending X-rays out . But they said nothing looks out of the ordinary there either so guess were just gonna have to hope he put grows it

@ashlie.prim, did they do an ultrasound to check his pyloric in his stomach. My pediatrician sent us to children’s hospital today and the ultrasound showed he had it and there doing surgery on my baby in the morning but she said it will be all better after that and he won’t throw up like this anymore.

@jennifer.mom.of.2, we went to a GI specialist they took blood and we had another appointment where they watched this white stuff go thru his system and took X-rays and sent some more stuff off for testing. His blood came back normal nor abnormalities or allergies and just from the second test they didn’t see anything but i have to call them in the morning for the results of the other one
