I know the feeling when I was pregnant and I told family my boy name they all said they didn't like it and that I'd change my mind later. They also said they hoped I was having a girl because they didn't like my boy name. (Wynter) long story short we didn't change our minds and we named our son Wynter and now they like it. I think your name is pretty and rude people are just going to have to get over it. It's not their child to name.
