What do you mommies think of the depo shot for birth control?? I’m thinking about trying it after I give birth. After my first son I was on the pill & I would often forget to take it. Now I’m gonna be a mom to a 2 yr o & a new born so chances might be even higher for me to forget; so I was thinking of tryin something that I don’t have to remember to take every single day! Kinda scared cause I always just do the pill. Any thoughts? ?

I hated that birth control sooo muxh . I had a period for 3 months and then you have problems with infertility If taken for many years . Everyone I know that has been on it! Don’t have anything good to say about it! And couldn’t have kids when they try to conceived or some it took 3-4 years to get pregnant

I gained a lot of weight but I only did one shot . But I got my period right after 👍🏻
I didn't like depo, I didn't gain weight on it like everybody else did ,and it stopped my period all together. When I finally stopped it it took me 2 years to get my period back. When I did get my periods back they were super irregular and heavy. It also took me 2 years to conceive after being on the shot.
Deposit is every few months you get a shot in butt nexoplanon in arm for 3 years and copper iud for 12 years
Eventually I had no periods

Will make you're clit bigger and over time will most likely gain weight but it works I just wouldn't recommend it for a very long time I was on it for 9 years but it worked for me never got pregnant and didn't feel like I was gonna have a heart attack like after a year with the nexoplanon I plan on getting the copper iud after baby is born
