So when I saw my docs NP last week, she was giving me the run down on how I’m about to see them every week once I hit 36 weeks then she says “oh and we’ll check your cervix ... oh wait, since you’re having a scheduled c section we probably won’t do that” 🤔🤔🤔 which confused me cuz my doc checked me with my last pregnancy... should I be worried that my doc is doing something he shouldn’t? With all the crazy people coming out now, I’m a little scared.
Anyone else with a schedule c section still get their cervix checked before the date?????

Not me personally but my cousin did because he wanted to see if she was dilating and whatnot before the operation. She went in to get checked at 38 weeks, 2 weeks to the day before her c-section and she was already dilated to 4. She had been having regular uncomfortable pregnancy pain but extra back pain. Ends up she was in labor.

He is also the same doc that delivered my last two and a family friend. Total professional. He explained it to me way back then because I was confused lol ❤️ I would be nervous if I were you too though!!

It just caught me off guard when I heard her say we wouldn’t be checking me out 😆 definitely feel much better after your cousins experience 👍🏼
