Have any of you all traveled with a 1 year old by plane by yourselves? I'm contemplating it. But traveling with my son alone is going to be a very big chAllenge😐😕 I'd for sure have to wear him the whole time without a doubt and I know he wouldn't go for it for that long but I wouldn't have any other way. Otherwise I have to wait till like summer for my friend to come here and that's so far Away 😟 plus I need a vacation!

I will be at the end of this month on a 7 hr flight. If you want I can let you know how it goes 😂 wish me luck

@samann9492, oh god! Good luck lol. My flight would only be like 1 1/2 but even that is long in itself with a 1 year old. I've seen like bring an iPad for them to watch movies, snacks, toys, but that stuff can only amuse them for so long. My son hates being held for more than 2 mins he wants down.

@missjess, My daughter hates being held to and if she’s being held she wants you to be up walking around. I’m bringing little toys with me and my laptop to play dvds. My flight there isn’t my concern she will be asleep but coming home will not be fun. You could plan to fly during nap time or later when he would sleep too!

@samann9492, yeah true I can try to plan during a sleep time. I may even be able to get a direct flight which would be even better! I have to see.

@missjess, hopefully you can and then you don’t have to deal with take off and landing more then once a trip!

They might not let you wear him the entire time. My sister had to bring a carrier and pay for an extra seat but that was a long time ago as well. She brought a booster as well, put the booster on the seat, put the tray table down and had snacks, coloring, movies, toys, etc. they travel a lot for her work. Idk if other flights are different but I do remember one time she had to count him as a seat and bring a carrier and booster
