After my son being born I am on birth control and cannot seem to find the right one. The depo shot made me gain weight and emotional. The pill is to annoying to keep up with and my stomach is chunkier than it’s ever been. I want to get off the pill now. Someone told me the implant is itchy and annoying. Can you please give me your experiences with any method? Weight gain, emotions, appetite, side effects l, facts, etc....?

I have the mirena IUD I've had it for 3 months. No weight gain, my emotions are as normal as they can be for being 3 months PP, it hasn't increased or decreased my appetite, just like any birth control there are some side effects that can happen bit I haven't experienced any. I love love it. I don't have a period on it, I spot sometimes, my face does break out more then normal but this is the first birth control I've ever been on. The only thing im not a big fan of is having to check the strings once a month to make sure they havent moved.

Ohh wow thank you.... There isn’t any pain putting it in ? And you have to check the strings , or the doctor? The doctor said the IUD is the only one that doesn’t contain hormones to release in your body so that’s why I was considering it as an option.
