So I'm confused. Apparently Braxton Hicks just tighten the e abdomen and can be painful but contractions are waves that start in the lower back and move to the abdomen. Well the latter is what ive been feeling and it can be super intense but never consistent and go away after a few hours. I see my dr Monday but I was wondering what you ladies thought. Anyone experienced this?

I did! I experienced Braxton hicks a lot and it can be different in everyone, no ones the same :) if you put your feet up and drink water they usually subside :)

@mommaxbearx that works sometimes other times I have to wait it out. My dr already thinks I'll deliver earlier than my due date. So I was curious of it seemed like pre labor. Thanks for the input!

I had ONE contraction prior to going into labor. My belly tightened up and I felt a wave of pain start in my **butthole** and work it's way up my back and toward my navel. It felt like someone had jabbed a 14" penis up my ass. I'll never forget it.
