Does the doctors offer anything other then an epidural for labor

Yes. Pain meds through the IV.

The reason I'm asking is cuz I have scoliosis and I don't want to use the epidural again cuz it gives me really bad back pain

I’m doing the pain meds through IV because the epidural will make me pass out (literally I cannot do the epidural shot or even think of it without feeling nauseated) so my dr said they’d make sure I got the IV instead. There’s that

18 years ago I had the walking epidural but not sure if it’s still an option

I had the epidural and the pain meds through the iv.

My sister's hospital had that nitrous gas stuff. She didn't get to use it but it's supposed to help dull pain. Not every hospital has it though.
