I don’t even know what to start buying for my baby boy. Or should I wait until after my baby shower…

You can wait to see what you get but there's always extra things you'll need and can get in the mean time. Bottles pampers wipes and plain onesies! :)

We bought some clothes. Depends on when your shower is. You can never have enough bath products, diapers, towels and wash clothes, lotion, butt paste. For us, people got us a lot of gift cards so we used that on the bigger stuff. But no one bought us anything to clean bottles with or a place to store them and we had to go out and buy that after she was born.

I've bought some clothes that span from newborn all the way to like 12 months. I feel like you can never go wrong with getting clothes. Diapers you'll never get enough of either. Stuff like bibs, blankets, a bassinet or any of that and the bigger stuff I would wait until after the shower. My shower is this Sunday so I have a decent amount of stuff but I'm mostly waiting until after my shower to get the rest

@juliakalinowsky, thank you so much this helped me start my list. My shower isn’t until June. I’m due in July. So I wanted to buy some essential so my partner and I won’t worry last minute and it so it won’t seem so expensive buying everything at once

No problem mama! And yea I just waited until I found out the gender and then slowly get stuff over time here and there. But yea that's how I felt too I didn't want to be rushed the month before trying to find everything

@sjo1, what size of diapers do u think are the most used? I know everyone keeps telling me to not get much of newborn ones.

@xosanmel they grow so fast that's it's super hard to know what they'll need. Just get sizes 1 & 2 since you don't know what baby will fit into exactly! Depending where you buy them you can take them back if you need a different size! Idk if you shop at Costco but they're deals on diapers are pretty great!

You can start buying little cute things you see & want for him🤗 but; make a registry of the things you think you’ll need for baby boy & then wait until after your baby shower to go & get the things no one got for you off of your registry. That’s what I’m doing, but I still picked up some things of my own like wash cloths, burp cloths, clothes, a feeding pillow, shoes etc.

I always get a lot over time for my babies, really just waiting until after my shower to get the big stuff! For example he needs a new walker & swing but I’m gonna wait until after my shower which is this Saturday, cause I think someone’s gonna get either one for me
