Question??? At age 2 years old did your child’s doctor want to test them for autism?

If they're showing signs that's the age most doctors begin to test . I have a friend who son has signs of autism but they think it may be speech delay so he's receiving speech therapy but they aren't ruling out autism . He's 19 months

Mine does a routine screening at every appointment starting at 18mo, it’s just a quick questionnaire to fill out.

@sarahmartinez817, I didn’t get to fill it all out because he was crying so had to leave, just didn’t won’t to think anything was wrong with my baby

If I remember correctly it asked about language skills (how many words he said), if he made eye contact, if he was unusually bothered by loud noises, if he responded to his name, and a few other questions. But I think it’s routine for them to give it, it doesn’t mean they suspect anything is wrong.
