So what do you do when your little one is being bad? Biting , hitting, scratching etc. Madison thinks it's hilarious when she does it. I want her to know it's not funny and it's not okay, but I don't want to have her be scared of me.
So what do you mommies do? Pat their hand? Pat their butt? Put them in time out?
I know she's a baby and doesn't understand, but I don't want her to start thinking it's okay young.

I'll Pat my daughter's hand, not hard or anything. But when I do, she just laughs and hits me back. @caseysmommy92

Thankfully my LO hasn’t started this but I used to nanny a boy around that age and they’re not gonna understand right away but if you act stern and let them know that it hurts/that it’s not funny they will start to pick up on it, also you can gently do the same act back to them and they will start to understand it doesn’t feel good

I tell him No and put him in time out. At that age time out was in bouncer or play pen, til he starts crying/realizes mommy is mad at him. Now it's chair or his room with the door closed or just refusing hugs. Again just til he crys for a minute, so he knows he's really done something wrong. If u hit at all, even a pat, ur just teaching them to hit, at that age
