Everyone has really different taste in names so don’t take it personally! Although kind of rude of them to actually say they hate it. We chose not to tell anyone our daughter’s name until she was born because I didn’t want to hear anyone’s opinions lol

When we announced our son’s name my mom said “I’m glad you’re going with that name. I actually like that one” 😒 woman, nobody asked for your approval. It’s our kid.

@rachokai, we did the same thing. Never told anyone until she was born cause I love my daughters name and I didn’t wanna hear bullshit from others who didn’t and would try to sway my decision.

First of all those are wonderful names! Secondly, I totally understand what you’re going through, I went through the same thing. “They’ll get bullied if you name them that! Oh I don’t like that name.” It’s beyond rude and annoying. Don’t let anyone deter you. You picked those names for a reason and out of love, so don’t let anyone make you change your babies name or second guess yourself. Just keep doing you mama, and don’t let anyone pass off their “friendly advice” or judgements. Their opinion doesn’t matter. Yours does.
