Ladies help i never had cold sore while pregnant and i just got it can i use abreva? And is is this true i mean i know google makes everything sound really bad but im freaking out after reading this what u guys think ur experience did u guys had to go through it

Yes I did while pregnant but it made it spread then I switched to old school hydrogen peroxide and Carmex

Don't worry yourself too much... I'm a teacher and when I was pregnant with my daughter- all the kids in my class ended up with hand foot and mouth... Of course I got it! It brought on a cold sore too... I went to the doc and they gave me a special med and all was good! 😉

Bring it up to your ob. You may need to go on antivirals to prevent another outbreak. Any of the herpes viruses can affect the baby if you have an outbreak when the baby is born.
