I am a very simple person and live by very simple rules, twelve of which I have to constantly repeat to myself as a personal mantra:

1. Treat others as I wish to be treated.

2. Always have a kind, nonjudgmental ear ready to listen.

3. Hope for what NEEDS to happen in every situation; don’t always hope for what I think is “best”.

4. Put out into the universe what I wish to receive.

5. Don’t presume you know what’s best for someone else.

6. Don’t ever think you are smarter than a child.

7. Don’t ask for opinions; you shouldn’t truly care what other people think. If you do, then there is a bigger problem and/or you probably already know the “answer” to the debacle at hand.

8. Love everyone, even those you don’t like.

9. Help those who are in need.

10. Don’t give advice when not asked; refer to #5, as some people just need that #2.

11. Always do what is RIGHT; it’s not always fun.

12. Don’t be a bitch!

Etc.

With that being said, it really throws off my zen state when people don’t seem to follow the same rules or principles. Of course, in times like that, it is really damn hard to remember #8. But.... I’m not perfect nor is anyone else. It takes a LOT of work to repeat those over and over some days. Today is definitely a repetitive day. 😑 ❤️ Namasté you guys. ❤️
