There's not much you can do because 18 months and that's what they're supposed to do with climb on thing they're exploring right now I would tell your mother in law to back off you're pregnant and I would stop taking my baby over there I find somebody else to watch her and if your mother-in-law wants to see her grandchild he would back off all quit bringing her over there same things I did with my grandparents I told them the same and if your mother-in-law is going to watch her she needs at the house baby proof as you need to stop complaining about the baby running around the house that's what a baby does I hate when people hasn't had kids and so long they tell you what to do or what they think you should do when they're old fashioned they don't know the new stuff of today they don't know how babies are supposed to grow in today's society they're going to explore they're going to get into things they're going to climb out if she can't handle it like I said take her somewhere else if you're pregnant you don't need to do that baby that's why I left my husband because it was stressing me out to the point I was afraid I was going to lose my baby while I was pregnant not worth it I'm here for you but I'm not going to stand for somebody stressing somebody else's pregnant I've been there done that not good and we go to bed I was in the hospital for 3 months because of that I want to because I was stressed but because I also have high blood pressure I was in the hospital 3 months before I had her so I got your back if you need somebody to talk to.

Once a child climbs out of their crib It won't stop. Once my daughter climbed out of her crib she had a bed that week. I'd rather transition her into a bed then allow her to continue climbing out of her crib where she could get hurt at some point. Your MIL needs to learn her place ( if it were me I would outright say that to her face) your dd is almost 2, healthy, strong, smart and obviously still alive so your doing a phenomenal job!!!

We just moved his mattress to the floor so the crib rail is higher. He hadn't tried to climb out but he's tall so the rail was almost at his belly, and I guess a lot of people try this. Now it's at his shoulders. We decided to try this over a toddler bed because he just isn't ready for that.

But really, she needs to butt out. Kids are kids. That's a normal thing for toddlers.
