Try pumping some and giving from a bottle once or twice a day....it gives your nipples a break. If you’re planning to exclusively breastfeed then it’s just basically waiting it out, the pain eventually will stop but the first few days/weeks were the most brutal for me with bleeding and cracking, and I had thrush too so it made my nipples extra itchy!!!

I agree with the first 3 months being the hardest

Its going to hurt for the first couple weeks. Just make sure she is latching properly. When she latches make sure her top lip isn't curled. Use one of your fingers to move her lip. That should help a lot. I made that mistake. Give it time eventually you'll have no feeling on your nipples at all 😁

The first three months are usually the hardest interms of breatfeeding(atleast for me) so i encourage you to hang in there first of all, because it gets better. Also ensure you apply a healthy/safe nipple cream/balm after every feed. Keep practising proper latching using other techniques of breastfeeding like the football method, etc until you find what works for both of you. Also be on the look out for mastitis to ensure timely treatment and pain relief. You could consider pumping to feed her every other time,so as to hasten healing of your nipples. However, ensure you let your doctor know for proper diagnosis & treatment of your pain if need be but like i read; your bleeding is harmless to baby(except that it hurts you alone) and the more you feed baby, the better things get. More grace upon you!

I know this won’t help with the latching, but rub coconut oil on your nipples
