Could be gas but My best guess is he's going through a leap . Google wonder weeks

He’s mainly fussy during the day, if I give him a pacy it’ll work for a few minutes but then he’ll just spit it out, or rocking him he’ll stop for a few mins but start again, sometimes holding him he’ll calm down, and later in the day or night he actually starts crying, scream crying. I’d say that goes on for a good almost hour or a little more, and sometimes at night after he wake up to eat if he doesn’t fall back asleep, he’ll start crying

Do you bottle or breastfeed?

@avahcruz, bottle, I breastfed for the first 3/4 weeks but I had to get back on my medication and I couldn’t take it pregnant, or breastfeeding because it would be harmful to the baby

@tayyandgrayy, was he that way when you were breastfeeding? Maybe he is getting too much air..is his belly hard when he is crying? If he is still crying like he is in pain consistently, I would definitely schedule an appointment with the pediatrician.

Do you pacefeed him on the bottle?

@avahcruz, no, not really. I always burp his after every 2 ounces that he drinks, and also try to kinda sit him up, when he eats to help with getting air in his tummy, And yeah, it tenses up a little and get kinda hard when he cries, so I suppose. What could that mean or is it normal?

@avahcruz, what exactly does that mean? I do sit him upright, and let him do his thing, and after the first 2 ounces burp him then give it back if he takes it.

When the belly gets hard it’s because there is air, the belly should be soft, but it sounds like you’re doing good with pacing him, maybe instead of every 2 oz try every .5-1 oz and see if that helps, there’s also this product called the windii on the fridababy line that helps release gas anally, so maybe give that a try as well, and if both of those don’t work see the doctor! I hope it gets better for y’all momma!
