So my son out of blue decides he doesn't like chicken anymore?! Last night he wouldn't eat it for my mom and tonight he wouldn't eat it for me. Idk if it's cause he's teething or because he's super picky and this is what he does. He's done it with ham before too. So if he doesn't like chicken anymore idk what the heck I'm going to feed him. That's basically all he eats besides turkey and today he was being funny with that too. 😫☹️🤔 He can eat baby food and peanut butter and jelly then if he wants to be that way. I try so hard. He's super picky and he has a wheat allergy so it's not easy. Tonight I even made something brand new and he ate the sweet potatoes out of it but nothing else. Sigh.

I understand this! My son can be so picky some days too! I think it’s their age and a phase...or at least I hope lol

Ugh, I feel you. My son randomly decided around 15mo that he was a vegetarian and refuses anything with meat.

@samanthaann, @chasha2017, @sarahmartinez817, @eryka616, it's like it's stuff he eats almost every day. He loves chicken! Now all of a sudden he has a change of heart? Lol he does that some times like he'll eat stuff and then all of a sudden he won't. I'm going to try ham again and see if he'll eat it since he's had a change of heart with chicken. This ultra picky eater thing is hard! He barely likes anything. 😟 I still have to give him jar baby food just so he'll eat fruits and vegetables.

Have you tried giving him fortified milk? That way, even if he doesn't eat too well, he'll get all the vitamins and nutrients he needs from his milk

Yeah, my toddler will eat any vegetable in the whole world as long as it comes out of a pouch that he can hold. Try to give him the exact same vegetable in it’s true form and he acts like you’re trying to feed him cyanide or something. Toddlers are weird.

@sarahmartinez817, my son is the same way!!! He is so weird about textures. He loves puried bananas but you give him a real bananas chopped up he spits it out. You mash it up, nope! Same with sweet potatoes. He likes the puried kind and roasted but mashed nope. And he's not big on veggies. I get them hidden with the fruit.

Right? I’m pretty sure whoever came up with the idea of hiding vegetables in puréed fruit baby pouches should be up for a Nobel Prize, because it is the only way any toddler I know will eat them.

@missjess, the same thing happened with Aiden! He used to love cube steak and rice and he won’t touch the meat anymore. Chicken is a hit or a miss. He hates cows milk he only will drink vanilla soy milk 🙄 high maintenance boys
