Wasn’t true for me either..

My first was 5hrs and perfect!

My second was 16hrs and ended up getting c section 😆

Guess it depends on baby!

Lol nope. My first was pretty smooth. Water broke, light pains to worse but got the epidural. Then pushed for an hour.

Now for my son ( second) Water never broke and the contractions started painful ( for an entire minute every 3 minutes). It was so painful even with pain meds they were giving me to help me rest. Finally I got the epidural but waited 4 hours to push because it was during a blizzard and many babies were being born ( 12 to be exact)

Maybe it's the age gap. Regardless, good luck and hope you have a super safe and fast delivery.
