Since our sons been born I've been the one doing ALL the nighttime feedings. I mentioned it to my hubby yesterday and he thought by doing the before bed feeding it would be enough. Like he doesn't even budge through the night when the baby cries. He just expects me to do it every time. Why is his sleep more valuable than mine?? I haven't had a full nights rest in nearly 4 months while he ALWAYS does. So frustrating. Now I'm up at 6am after maybe 4 hours sleep last night while he gets his fricken beauty sleep. 😡😡

My husband was the same way with BOTH our kids....and neither of my kids were sleepers, up every other hour until they were around 3 years old each...
Im sorry for you, i know how draining it is. Keep strong mama 💪 hopefully your hubby realizes how worn out you are and finally helps you.

Hubby helped in the beginning.. maybe 2 weeks.. but since he worked and I was home, it wasn't fair to ask him to get up at night when he was the one working and paying the bills.

@tlistboom, I would absolutely let him sleep for however long he wished on the nights he works but when he gets like 3-4 days off in a row I would love a night to catch up on sleep for myself too.

Yeah true.
When hubby has the weekend off .. He lets me sleep in and nap when I need it.

I had the same problem. Sat him down and told him that it wasn't only my daughter. I told him I needed sleep. I was just honest with how I felt and we made a compromise. We would take turns getting up.
