I always took my own pillow and a large towel for that first shower, also clothes for yourself to go home in, earphones, change for the cafeteria xx

If you're planning on breastfeeding then definitely get nipple cream x

I found my hospital bag great for when I got home from hospital! Needed hardly anything when I was there but loved it was all in one place when I got home. Flip flops for when you are in the shower? An eye mask I found I couldn’t get any sleep as the lights were on in my neighbours rooms at night.

Blankets for baby. Slippers/flip flop. Dry shampoo? Pjs x 2 I ended in for 2 nights and it felt so much better once I had changed my pjs. Food and drinks. I’ll be taking comfy clothes for my hubby. Our hospital let’s dad stays the night if we stay in so I’ll be taking him a few bits, like clean underwear, deodorant, clothes etc. A
