I am really considering adoption for my baby, after days/weeks/months/years of my son's dad not being here for us. I've never done anything harder than being pregnant and taking care of my nearly 2yr old by myself. I can not imagine having a newborn and my son with absolutely no help. I don't have a good support system, I am not financially prepared either. Mostly I am not emotionally prepared. I can't even believe I'm at a point where I would even consider such a thing.... I don't know how I would continue on my life knowing that I brought another child into the world just to let someone else take care of them. But I do not think in any way shape or form that I can do this by myself.
