Am I the only one who doesn’t get along with my husbands friends wives?
The one doesn’t like me because I told her then bf that she was controlling and manipulative. When my hubby and I were split up and just friends she slept with him to make her then ex bf (my husbands best friend) jealous so he would get back together with her. So she used my friend to make his best friend jealous and was playing games.... Not my kinda person! She’s never gained an ounce of respect back from that. So I told the guy off about her. We haven’t ever been friends.... but we have become more civil to each other over the years, this was over 5 years ago, we have both been married to our guys for the last 5 years but I don’t get invited over for dinner when my husband is invited over... So there is still that...
My husbands other best friend is cool as hell. One of the best people we know and just an over all good person. Always willing to help. His wife is an EXTREMELY jealous person... She is jealous that we bought a house before them, that we are having our second baby and bought a house. That I don’t have to work, the list goes on... Mind you I’m about 5 years older than them, and hubby is about 7 years older. We’ve had some time to get our shit together financially before we did any of this stuff.... I thought we were friends till she started ignoring my messages and hubby’s friend started covering for her ignoring my messages. Like Chick... I know you on FB chat it shows that you’re active!!!!
Just wish we had a couple to hang out with together... I’m super into board games and card games, we haven’t had anyone over for a game night in a year...

@nakeily1112, I made my mom, sister and the second friends wife mentioned above a few games for xmas... Mom was the only one who showed even the slightest appreciation for the time and effort I put into making the games...

Same lol my current bf doesn’t have any married friends but one and my bf hates the dudes wife. Apparently his friend is only married to her cause they have 3 kids together lol

@sadiesue0718, yep that’s what I said but he won’t leave her and she won’t leave him, idk why honestly lol they just recently got married but have been together for a long time

@twistedrenots, well... hopefully there is some love and respect between them that they can put the kids first.
It took my hubby and I 4 years to tie the knot. 2.5 years after that we had our daughter. Last Jan we suffered a miscarriage, he took it harder than I honestly expected... And now we are about to welcome a son to his new house.
We have worked hard to get to where we are and have the relationship we have, but I get really annoyed when someone says it was easy, or is jealous and unwilling to put in the same work we did.

@sadiesue0718, We don’t hang out with them anyways lol we are totally different people and it’s just awkward. but I respect that. I would feel the same way! I’m happy for you and your family to have overcome things and pushed through. And I’m sorry for you loss.
