I know the usual range for hemoglobin in females is 12-15 and mine is 11, but for some reason my OB’s office range starts at 11. Since I’m borderline low and it’s continuously dropped I’ll probably be anemic by my next appointment, plus I was hypoglycemic when I did my glucose tolerance test even after eating. I feel like shit and I just want to eat gallons of crushed ice 😭😭😭😭

Мама сына (2 года), беременна (27 нед.)
@junesmommy_15, @raquely, @rachelleclister, mine dropped with my first pregnancy too and after birth it was so low they wanted to do a transfusion. I’m trying to be proactive even though I did last time and it didn’t make a difference, so can I just go get regular iron supplement from a store and take those until I see my doctor? I don’t see her for another 2 weeks

@babyjjsmommy, yes you can I was in the same situation with my pregnancy. And I stared taking iron and eating foods with high iron content. And it helped me tremendously I had to take iron pills for a little while after i gave birth but I no longer needed a transfusion
