My daughter is 5 months and DOES NOT TAKE NAPS !!! please tell me I'm not alone and there's an easy…

We take like 15 minute naps here. 5 month old as well. Does she sleep all night?

That’s how my son is, unless he lays with me, which I can’t do all the time. I feel like if they’re really tired they will sleep. I’ve been told that infants should get 8-12 hours of sleep each night (don’t quote me lol)

@db413 she sleeps all night. But is up bright and early and she might cat nap 15 mins here 10 mins there.... @avahcruz Yea she'll nap if I nap with her but as soon as I get up, she's up too smh lol

Sounds exactly like my son! I personally don’t worry about it since he gets sleep at night, but if anything you could always mention it to your pediatrician 😊

@avahcruz I mean I don't see it as a big deal. But sometimes I need a break, especially when she's being fussy, I know she's sleepy. But she'd rather cry than go to sleep. And like I said, if she does sleep it's only for a few minutes. It's annoying lol

We co sleep as well, i would definitely try weaning her out of your bed, be consistent, it will probably suck for awhile, and maybe try it in increments, select a nap time, and put her in her sleeping space at that time, and do it each day, obviously grab her if she cries, but let her stay there if she’s awake, to help her get used to it!

That’s all if you want her to nap independently, I’ve just accepted my son needs me to sleep lol hopefully he’ll grow out of it one day....eventually 😅

@avahcruz okay. Thanks I'm gonna try. I mean I've attempted to put her in her bassinet for naps (when she takes them) but she cries. And at night she SCREAMS... I guess I just have to be consistent, she knows of she cries enough I'll give in.... Gotta stick to it
