Doesn't have too. The dont get air like with a bottle.

You can try putting both arms up over your shoulder when patting. may help

My son only burps on occasion. Burps are really only needed for air bubbles from bottles

I would bounce my son lightly on my knee and rub his back. Facing me.

My son never burped when I breastfed. Since breast milk is easier to digest he might not need to.

If he doesn't seem uncomfortable, isn't spitting up, I wouldn't worry. Babies are usually pretty good at letting us know when they're unhappy 😂

Start burping him even if it feel like u patting for hours, cus he gonna start spitting up, all that milk! He'll burp sooner or later...it can relax him too, so he won't be so gassy
