My son is 5 weeks and I breast fed him the day he was born but I stopped after that day because so many people were coming in the room to see him. I was going to pick up breastfeeding when we went home. Well I didnt😒 5 weeks later I decided I’ll try it again? Well it seemed to be going fine until my nipple started hurting and now it’s kinda bleeding? So I just gave him , his formula back and I’m scared to try it again his next feeding😔 What should I do?

Try applying a nipple cream. They sell some that’s safe for the baby. As well as express a little milk and lubricate the area that always helped me the most!

I bought it at Walmart for like 5 dollars it’s the brand first years it’s in a yellow package.
