The expectations should have been discussed at the time the person asked her to be the Godparent. Everyone has a different understanding of what that means. I’ve heard stories where some godparents help financially and some don’t. I don’t expect anyone but my family to to care for my kid(s) should something happen to me. Especially if the kids don’t know her friend well enough. That would be a horrible experience for the kids. Next in line should be a father , aunt, Uncle or grandparent. This is just my personal opinion.
People don't understand the responsibilities of the Godparent and that's why you should choose one wisely. If she didn't like kids why agree to be the Godparent? The mother and her were friends for 25 years and she didn't know her friend didn't like kids?
It's unfortunate that the mother will pass but very unfortunate that those kids godmother is a piece of shit.
That's why I make sure I'm good, healthy and look at all my surroundings I know tomorrow isn't promised but I wanna see my children grow old and grand grow old because people are a piece of shit smh all they do is worry about themselves like you hate kids but wanted to be a god parent with someone life on the line how can you confess this type of bull smh

I chose my Godparents because I knew if my family couldn’t they would take my child as their own!!
LOL! I remember My Godson telling me “thats if his mum died, I would have to look after him” LOL! I thought thanks for the heads up kid!!
