I can't believe my sons father had the nerve to file my child on his tax return when i haven't seen or heard from him in over a year he didn't call my child for his birthday or Christmas my son cried and picked up the pieces.... i don't have a number or an address for him i don't no where this man is im heart broken and pissed off 😢😢😢😢

You need to file for your son. His social may be a red flag since he already filed. He can’t legally file for him if your son did not live with him for more than half the year. You’ll get your money and he’ll have to pay it back! Or they’ll garnish his wages.
You need to find out how you can still file. Bcuz you should be the one claiming him not him...so when you call and or report it make sure you ask how to file from there along with reporting him so he can’t claim him.....sorry your going through that hunn....i hope it all works out for you.....

Report him. Thats illegal. He can’t do that. If he was with you for 6 months or more last year it’s illegal for him to do that. id report his ass.......
Report it! He legally cannot unless the child lived with him for more than half the year or there's a court order.

Still file your son and the irs will ask for verification that your son resides at yoir resident. Then thats whrn you go to the doctor office show proof of your address. It will take a while to get that money but you child's father will be contacted by the irs and forced to pay that money back.
