Karter just ate 4oz & is still giving me feeding cues... his dr said 4oz is def pushing it 😩 i don’t want to feed him…

Mia is drinking 4 oz every 3-4 hours. Her doctor said it’s okay if she’s not spitting up

Little babies can’t overeat. If he’s still trying to eat he could be going into a growth spurt where they cluster feed. Meaning often and more than usual. If you’re breastfeeding the cluster feeding naturally boosts your production to make more for your growing baby. That’s why they nurse so often, nature is beautiful.

My son always ate sooo much and like every hour and a half and he ate over the 4oz but he was happy and slept good so I kept doing it because if not he'd cry so much and it made me feel so bad and the drs always told me he was healthy and growing great so I would say just give him more girl he'll tell you when he's finished either he'll push the bottle out or stop sucking (this is what the dr told me when I was worried about over feeding) 😊

5 months in and my son only eats 3oz 🤷🏼‍♀️ every baby’s different.
