So Thursday I started with horrible sinus pressure/headache. Figured it was an allergy attack since I've been cleaning a lot and stiring up a lot of dust and such. Friday sinuses started to drain and I started to feel relief. Yesterday I wake up and I'm still in pain. Decide to go to the doc since it may be a sinus infection (I only had sinus pressure and drainage) my doc had no appts and all walk in clinic were a 2hr wait. So I talked to the pharmacist at walmart and got some meds to help. Sassy was cranky since she needed to poop. Got her to poop and she mellowed out. Then she got cranky again and here she is running a fever. I give her meds and she naps on the boob (we do skin to skin) and she wakes up better and I give her a bath and she is all smiles and splashing. She plays for a bit then falls asleep. I put her in just light PJ's no sleep sack or anything. I take a 1hr nap then woke up with heart burn from my sinus drainage. I've been running a low temp on and off. I was up for like 45 mins then tried to go back to bed but was restless something was telling me something was wrong. I checked sassy a few times and she didn't feel warm (she was a tiny bit warm when I put her down but I wasn't gonna wake her up to give her meds and a low grade fever is good to help fight off what ever) so finally she stirs (this is about 3hr 15min after I laid her down) and I get her and realize she is sooo hot. I strip her down and take my nightie off and do skin to skin and give her a little boob then meds. I feel like a horrible mom I should have listened to my instincts earlier 😔 I let her nurse for a while then take her temp is 101.3 (rectal) so not too high to worry. She takes another nap while nursing and wakes up all smiles and happy squeals and wants to play for a while. Don't kno if she is fighting something off (idk if I am contagious or not I only have a on and off low grade fever and my sinuses) or if it's teething since her only symptom is the fever. This guessing game is so nerve wracking some days 😷😔 hoping Tom brings us both feeling better
