I had mine with pregnancy only but my man’s co-worker just had a baby and sadly after pregnancy she has to now take high blood pressure pills for life. She’s so young too. It sucks. I know my mom and dad both have it too.

I have high blood pressure. Hereditary and weight related. Increased during pregnancy. I was on labetalol while pregnant from 8w- 34 then 34-37 I was in nifedipine (not sure the dose, but 4x a day) and labetalol (600mg can 4) I also had preeclampsia

I have high blood pressure, and it definitely doesn’t help with my pre-eclampsia. It’s hereditary for me as well, my dad and one of my brothers are on medication, i have a feeling eventually in my life I’ll need to be put on meds because of it.

My blood pressure was up 3 days in a row and my doctor decided to send me to the hospital cause of it. It was at 160/106 when I was transferred to the second hospital by an ambulance smh. Blood pressure isn't a joke

@kailylane153 Yes I was induced at 34 weeks due to my preeclampsia and ended up having an emergency csection due to the pitocin lowering my sons heartbeat.

@lovemyson215, Dang, 😩 I’m sorry you have to deal with that! We’re you induced? With my first I was put on labetalol and propranolol now I’m on nephedipne if that’s even how you spell it.. mine is hereditary too. I’m wondering if I should ask for a C section

I have high blood pressure. Sadly it's hereditary for me 😥my mom has it so did her mom and all my siblings have it. I also had it while pregnant and ended up having preeclampsia. I was on 2 different blood pressure pills while pregnant labetolol and I forgot the other.
