Looking for any and all breast feeding tips, i didnt breastfeed my first and i dont know anyone who has breastfed.
I want to breast feed and pump, have a few months still but i want to start understanding it sooner rather than later. I youtubed some stuff but still looking for tips like when is to soon to introduce the bottle? I want baby to be bottle fed breastmilk while being babysat or in public but id still prefer boob fed majority of the time.
Any tips from best electronic pumps to best ways to store breast milk would be helpful so i can start buying now

Your doctor will write you a prescription for a good breast pump so you don’t have to pay for it! You wanna wait like two weeks before you start pumping and bottle feeding. that gives your body time to adjust to how much baby eats. If you pump sooner that that you’ll make too much milk and you’ll get swollen and it will hurt BAD

Medela electrical breast pump works wonders has different suctions! U want to nurse as much as you can it’s all about supply and demand, u can start pumping after about a month and store it in the freezer for six months .. breastfeeding is exhausting! The baby will have a growth spurt along with cluster feeding so be prepared stay focus and don’t give up ... cause trust me u are going to want to throw in the towel .. I would pump in a bottle and store it in breastmilk freezer bags with the date you pumped ...

For the milk on being bottle fed you will warm one of your frozen breastmilk over the stove DO NOT MICROWAVE it will kill all your nutritions in the milk .

It is a supply and demand emptying the breast fully is what signals the body to produce more. This is my first time breastfeeding. I don't know everything but know it is HARD work. It does hurt and is sore for the first few weeks I'm just now adjusting. I also breastfeed and pump. For me, my son has a really good latch and those first 10-15 seconds are super painful till he gets it so I use a nipple shield and it has SAVED me. Not all babies are able to properly latch or have enough milk supply with a shield, but it has saved me. Lanolin helps, but expressing your own breast milk and rubbing it on sore/chapped/cracked nipples helps better than anything. I recommend feeding exclusively on the breast first 6 weeks (not to substitute pumping then bottle feeding) because baby is always able to take what they need and get milk better, and its so much easier to just pump really quick and be done for a few hours. I made this mistake and am just now and in the process of getting my supply back up. I love my spectra s2 pump! Lots less cleaning to do. Look up fridge pumping hack. Rinse the parts of the pump with hot water put them in a ziplock in the fridge. The thought is that breast milk is good in the fridge for 24 hours, so this way you don't have to soap and water wash all the parts every use just once a day. Also, NEVER MICROWAVE breast milk to reheat. It destroys some of the proteins (so it's like why are you doing all of this work just to counteract the benefits) plus because it has fat the fat will heat faster, stick together and make hot spots bad enough to burn baby's mouth while the rest is up to temp. Since it is supply and demand I would say, whenever you feel ready and up to it (because it's a lot of work and huge time commitment) to after baby is done on breast, pump each side for five minutes after milk has stopped flowing, this may be immediately or after a few minutes or very at first. But after awhile, you should produce more and build up a freezer stash. Also, remember that formula is not poison, we have had to supplement here and there due to my early mistakes and loss of milk supply which is getting better now. I was so guilty at first but happy momma=happy baby. You CAN do it. It's natural but it sure isn't easy but worth it! Sorry for the book! Just trying to compress my experience and what I know
