Havent really shared much about my labor but im so glad i stayed out of hospital. Baby was born barely two hours after I met my midwife and then i was back home within three hours after that. It was very quick and natural. The midwife cooked me a meal and I was never hooked up to any moniters, there were no loud noises or bright lights, they have a big comfy bed and a shower and a jacuzzi tub for water birth. I gave birth squatting on the floor i was not forced to lay down or get checked for dilation or anything i didnt want to do. We just let my body do what it naturally wanted to.

@sharlet002 thanks it was still painful as fuck but grateful how quick it was and that i stayed out of hospital

Sounds wonderful. I had a hospital birth and I wasn't hooked up to anything until awhile after. I was hemorrhaging, so being at the hospital was a good thing for me. I had a quick natural birth as well.dimmed lights but I was checked for dialation.

Sounds like you had a great experience. If I hadn't gone to the hospital both my baby girl and I probably wouldn't be here, I'm glad it worked out for you though:) that being said there were no bright lights or loud noises and I was only hooked up to a monitor right at the end. I also wasn't made to lie down, and I was able to sit in the tub for most of my labour
