Hey pretty mammas. Sorry if I’m terrible at responding. This new Mom life has me running around like crazy. I just wanted to ask some other moms a question. So yes I am a pediatric nurse and I have confirmed this through a physician as well but I am being Mom shamed. My almost one month old is taking anywhere from 2.5-4oz every 2-3 hours at night almost 4 hours. And I had some Mom lay it on me that I’m over feeding. He isn’t spitting up and he was born at 6.14 and now is 8.12. He’s healthy and not overweight. Please let me know what your one month olds were taking. Thank you in advanced.
@crystalhealing, ok that makes me feel better too. She is so cute!! Some people just need to cool it with their mom advice.
@raquely, ok thank you so much that makes me feel better. She is absolutely beautiful!
My daughter was taking the same amount. I don't see why a bitch would be mom shaming you for taking care of your son.
My daughter was the same. Born 6lbs 14oz and was over 10lbs at her 1mo appt. My pedi was very pleased with weight gain and just like you, I had friends telling me I needed to make her wait longer between feedings. My pedi told me I’m doing great. At her 2mo appt she was 12lbs 8oz.
You’re doing a great job. 💖
My boy has always been a spitter-upper. But he was having 3-4 Oz every 2-3 hrs by 1 month
Hi, I’m Bri. I am from Chicago Illinois. I have a almost 3 year old and a 6 month old..I am currently 17 weeks pregnant and I am due Christmas Day! I am a single momma as well. Hoping to meet some mommas and be in this mommyhood together! #myfirstpost
Can some one please tell me i was reading the pregnancy tracker it says second week you release a egg am i reading this wright in thats were sperm in egg meet!!!
I am so stressed right now!!!
My OB doesn’t want to take me anymore because I am too “high risk” so I got a new one they don’t want to see me either. They referred me to a group one hour way from my house. But there is only one high risk dr and he doesn’t know if he could see me.
I feel like I should not see any at this point.
You couldn't find a babysitter?!
Mommas, do you take your kids with you to run errands and go to mundane appointments? On two separate occasions, a doctors appointment for me and today at a car service appointment, someone has remarked "you couldn't find a babysitter?!" It never crossed my mind to find a babysitter. I take my 2 kids with me just about everywhere. They are well behaved (minus the occasional 3 year old meltdown) and one of them is attached to my boob the majority of the time anyw...
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
@1st_time_wonder, seriously I know I’m a first time mom but I’m also a nurse and I never try to make people feel bad about how they take care of their kids !
