Montessori is amazing!!!!!!

@pettybetty the schools cost as much as college, but I really want to do something! I bought some of the play stuff to do it at home, but apparently the room is supposed to be set up a certain way and stuff 😦

I have 2 children who attend montessori and the rest attend public.

@worlds.okayest.mom as far as set up, it just needs to be organized and inviting. Clear defined and consistant.

@pettybetty is the actual school worth It? The schools here are complete shit, so we'll have to probably put her in private school eventually anyway, I'm just trying to figure out what's best without going bankrupt.

Someone in a local mom group asked if her 2.5 year old was gifted and advanced because he knew his ABCs and counted to 10. I was like "uh....My daughter does that and she's not even two, so I'm guessing it's pretty normal." Everyone was praising her and telling her she had a genius child 🤦‍♀️. The kids in my son's class can't even spell their own names.

@pettybetty that makes more sense. These people were describing it like it had to be feng shui.

@worlds.okayest.mom have a schedule and a routine each day. Don't so much worry about the length of time it takes to complete each activity. Not supposed to interupt them when they are concentrating or focused on a certain thing. Especially not to change activities. Focus mor instead on the order activities are done.

@worlds.okayest.mom in my opinion the schools are totally worth it. We are just waiting on openings to get our other children in.
