So, I went from dry hair to super oily hair in a months time. I'm desperate. Any ideas?

I’ve been having the same problem. I saw on Pinterest to put salt in your shampoo. I sprinkle a little in the shampoo in my hand and then wash it like normal and it’s been better. Here’s the link for the webpage the post takes me to.

@watterlady, my trouble spot is the back but at the top. I would wash it and then dry it and it’d look like I hadn’t washed it in months. So I was constantly wearing my hair up because even dry shampoo wasn’t working.

@ka53yl33 yeah my whole scalp is god awful right now. I wash it and tomorrow it will look just as bad. I can't use dry shampoo because it doesn't even touch it, it seems like it anyway

@watterlady, idk how the weathers been in Indiana, but here in Iowa we’ve had a lot of temperature fluctuation and I think that has something to do with it. Like my hair is producing more oils trying to keep my scalp from getting dry and itchy. Lol 😂

@ka53yl33 yeah it's the same here. That saying, give it 5 minutes and the weather will change is the tune of this state

@watterlady, same here. In high school my track coach would always say, “make sure you pack for all seasons for practice.” And to this day I still do with the kiddos daycare bags.

@ka53yl33 yes! Lol. I'm doing all this research online about going like 30 days without really washing your hair to fix the problem... like day 2 I'll have to wash it because I can't stand it looking so bad 😭

Try switching your shampoo and conditioner mine does that every once in awhile and it’s because my hair got use it the stuff and I would switch the shampoo and conditioner and it would stop being greasy like that

@watterlady, since I last washed with the salt it has been 4 days and if I wouldn’t have curled it yesterday I could get another day out of it and just to be clear for the judgmental people on here.....yes I still shower! 🙄

It’s at Walmart it use to be by the bath salts and stuff not the shampoo aisle at least at mine
