@xxxzenixxx how long did it last? All the staff on my ward have had it and I did my best to avoid it but because the ward is so hot the germs just spread like wildfire 😷 only got 2 days off and I'm spending them feeling like I've been beat up! Xx
@shannonn95, Well the flu lasted 4-5 days x and now Ive ended up getting a chest infection 😒 x I have asthma so when i get a flu or cold it lasts longer then other people x

@xxxzenixxx oh no that sounds awful! At least your feeling better now though, and thank you! I'm a nursing assistant on an eating disorders unit, it's part of a big psychiatric hospital but the ward I work on is like extra hot because the girls on the ward have such low bmi so they feel the cold a lot more and it's deadly when there's an illness going round xx
@xxxzenixxx yeah I'm hoping they'll send me home tomorrow but I've gotta go in anyway and show them how bad I am, I've stocked up on Lemsip and flu tablets so hopefully I'll get rid as soon as possible!
And that's what I was worried about Arlo catching it so I'm not getting close to him today if I can help it haha x

Well we've been struggling massivly with bottles and i cba with the fight no more.. so ive cut his lunch time one and just give him a sippy of water in the day now!
He has a few oz in the morning hardly anything then about 7-8oz at night!
He loves dairylea and yogurt so i know hes getting plenty of calcium!

Yeah thank goodness Im a lot better x I was so worried the kids would catch it x but nothing so far thank gosh x fingers crossed 🤞 it stays that way x

Awww get well soon hun! It was awful when i had tonsilitis looking after charlie.. I felt like death!
Lots of hand sanitizing and a detol air freshener is amazing!
