I really don’t understand why my boyfriend thinks it’s okay to have no part at all in helping with our son. I do it all 24/7 while he does nothing & im not complaining about taking care of him bc he’s my son & it’s my job to do so but some help every once in awhile from his dad would be nice.

My son is almost two and his dad still will not help me and his sleep is more important, so much he wouldn't be caught dead here and me ask for him to do anything. I'm also pregnant again. Well if he keeps this up then at least make sure you're not alone doing it twice. This is really hard.

I don’t have help nor support from Dylan’s dad so I definitely get it ... hopefully things turn around for us all

Wow, experiencing the same thing. He’s using his paternity leave to work and play mechanic on his raggedy cars and work at night versus helping me with a crying baby at 3am. Don’t know why I expected anything different though. This is his 4th and he hasn’t done much in any of their lives!

My sister's husband did that same thing when the babies were born :(

I understand it’s our job as mothers to take care of our children, but we didn’t make these them on our own. He should be helping you. And if you don’t express this to him, you will only start to dislike him. Trust me.
My husband has always helped with taking care of our children.
