@austinsmommy, ugh, I’ve been crying off and on because of it. I can’t imagine. My local news station posted a video that a student recorded of when the FBI came into their classroom and they have all the students put their hands up. You can see one students hands shaking uncontrollably. Those poor kids.

@austinsmommy, now you’re going to see a lot of people post fake things which sucks. I just hate how this has became a part of the new norm in this country. I’m terrified to send my kids to school, I can’t go to the movie theaters anymore. I like to sit more towards the top and if I do go I sit there and think the whole time how I could escape just in case anything happens. We shouldn’t have to live in fear.

I can't imagine having so little to do with my child's life that they go and shoot a school... 😥

@austinsmommy, seriously!?! That’s terrifying, the fact you were in the same vicinity as that individual. I can’t imagine. I remember I was in 7th grade and my school got put on lockdown because a man was outside the school in his car fully loaded with guns holding his girlfriend and baby hostage. I was young and they don’t tell you much other than it’s a serious lock down. It was from about 8am to 4pm we had to sit quietly in our classroom. We weren’t allowed to use the bathrooms. And leaving school that day they made us duck down while leaving the buildings. So I’ve somewhat been through that fear, and the amount of not knowing is what’s the scariest.

I also feel mutual about the movies, me and my bf went to watch planet of the apes this summer and as I was walking in he was behind me and asked where I wanted to sit and I said "somewhere that will be easy for us to escape if there should be a gunman" so we moved along to the closest seats by the exit and before the movie started there was these two Russian guys on their phones acting so weirdly, answering calls looking around the theatre, texting idk i felt weird about them then a moment later the movie lady walked in and escorted them. after that I couldn't even focus on the movie and enjoy it I was thinking all the what ifs

@austinsmommy my Mom was across the street from that one. It was within the branch of the job my my mom had. How scary!!
