Anyone else's husband not really care for Valentine's Day? My husband thinks flowers are too cliche and has never really "celebrated" it with me. I got him a card that i left laying on his pillow for when he gets home and I bought him a heart cookie cake and I feel like its not enough lol

@victorious18 it sucks sometimes lol I'm sorry he's like that too. I always want to go all out for my husband but i know he doesn't like Valentine's day that much

@jgood2220, mine gets me stuffed animals every year but he thinks flowers are lame because they die lol I'm making him homemade lasagna tonight ❤️

My ex was like that he never celebrated any holidays.. never got anything from him Sept if I asked for it once in a blue moon he'd surprise me but I never held my breath

My hubs is the same. He has never gotten me anything for Valentine’s Day, or my birthday in the 6 years we been together. Didn’t anything for mother’s days or wedding anniversary either. But yet he did all these things with his ex when they were together

Ehhh we both aren’t really Valentine’s Day celebraters lol. He probably wants to more than me actually. Just never been a huge fan of it.

@familyislife121417 that's how I am, I don't really look forward to him doing much on any holidays or anything. He did it when we first started dating but now, he really doesn't.

@lizyetter_1991 that would make me really sad. I'd kick his ass lol my husband used to get me flowers or cards and just little things when we first started dating, now that we're married, he never does. He always says he doesn't have to buy me things or try to "surprise" me because he already has me so he doesn't need to "try" anymore 😕

@jgood2220, it does upset me a little but I have gotten use to it and learned to deal with it

@lizyetter_1991 i might as well get used to it lol it only really bothers me because I love to spoil him and get him stuff for holidays then when he says "I'm sorry, I didn't get you anything" I just shrugg my shoulders, but it's upsetting sometimes

I used to have the problem but I sat down and told him y it’s so important to me and how it makes me feel when it isn’t a big deal and every vday I remind him it’s coming and how excited and important it is. Now I don’t have that issue anymore
