Just wanting to rant a little.. so my son started forming a cleft lip in my stomach & this is something me & his father knew nothing about the whole time I was pregnant. I didn’t smoke or anything while pregnant & it doesn’t run on either side of our family’s so we have no clue what caused it but anyways the doctors said it healed it’s self while I was carrying him which was very rare & normally doesn’t happen. So now he has a little scar above his lip. The doctor said it was very minor that he’d most likely grow out of it & it wasn’t a cause for alarm. But to get to my original story my step sister has been begging me for 2 weeks to come see the baby so I finally let her yesterday & the whole time she was around him all she talked about was his scar on his lip. Her mom FaceTimed her & she was like zooming in & stuff like “mom look at his lip” & just kept pointing it out & talking about it & it really pissed me off eventually I just made her leave. Like maybe I’m just over reacting but I think my child is beautiful regardless & you being his aunt shouldn’t constantly be pointing out what you think is wrong with him & what’s “not normal”. There is nothing wrong with my child he’s not in any way different then any other child bc he has a scar so there’s no reason he should be looked at & talked about like there’s something wrong with him. I’m sorry I just needed to rant ladies. Y’all have a blessed day😌
