@theycallmemommy ughhhh. My 18 month old scratched mine and for a good few minutes I couldn't see. Right now it just feels irritated and like there is something in my eye. I dnt wanna go to the ER tonight 😭😭😭
@jleona, ughhh I am sorry! That’s what happened to my husband. My son was 2 at the time and scratched his eye. I took him to the ER and they basically said to go to the eye doctor. That’s where he got the prescription from.
I have and it turned it a corneal abrasion/ulcer. You need antibiotic drops ASAP. My ER flushed my eye out and gave me drops. You can go blind from it. It’s definitely considered an emergency.
Yes, the absolute worse! I went blind temporarily in that eye then eventually both and now my colors are all off and my 20/20 vision has gone to shit. They gave me an eye patch and some special eye drops for home care. At the doctors office they flushed my eye with I guess a saline wash and then added a dye to my eye so they could see the scratch. Mine happened to be torn left to right in my left eye all because I was using st eves apricot scrub

I haven’t but my husband had one. He had to use special eye drops and keep the scratched eye taped up. He wasn’t allowed to drive either.
